Creative Connections for Every Ability

Gumnut Lane Studio is a creative space where adults, children and young people can explore art, craft, and self-expression through fun, structured workshops. We offer after-school programs, day workshops, school holiday workshops, and NDIS-friendly sessions that nurture creativity, build confidence, and foster community connection. At Gumnut Lane Studio, it’s not just about making art, it’s about growing skills, friendships, and imagination.

Programs

At Gumnut Lane, our programs are bursting with creative opportunities—from multimedia art and painting to pottery, jewellery making, drawing, and more. Each activity is designed to spark imagination, build skills, and give participants the joy of creating something unique with their own hands.

After School Sessions & Holiday workshops

After school sessions run for 2.5 hours and include all art materials, guided activities, and healthy snacks, while our school holiday workshops provide extended, themed experiences ranging from half-day to multi-day programs. Our sessions are uniquely focused on creativity, skill-building, and fun, giving children more than just supervision, but a space to learn, explore, and grow.

NDIS friendly sessions

Our NDIS-friendly creative sessions are carefully designed to support participants in building confidence, social connections, and life skills in a fun, inclusive environment. Programs typically run for 2–3 hours and include all materials, guided creative activities, and tailored support to align with individual NDIS goals. What makes us unique is our focus on blending art, routine, and self-expression—providing more than just an activity, but meaningful outcomes that participants and carers truly value.

Adult workshops

Our adult workshops are all about fun, creativity, and connection. Running for 2–3 hours, each session includes all materials, light guidance, and plenty of space to relax, chat, and enjoy the process of making something by hand. No experience is needed—just bring your curiosity! What makes our workshops unique is the focus on the social side of creativity: a chance to laugh, share ideas, and walk away with both new memories and something you’ve made yourself.
